early tomorrow afternoon.
* Impact...At 7.0 feet, Backyards floods along Madison Street in
Long Hill Township due to backwater.
* Impact...At 7.5 feet, Flooding along Morristown Road in the
Gillette section on Long Hill Township. Flooding along Warren
Avenue in the Striling Section of Long Hill Township. Both due to
backwater.
* Impact...At 8.0 feet, Bungalow Terrace in Millington begins to

early Friday afternoon.
* Impact...At 5.5 feet, The lower end of East-Holsman Street in
Paterson, closest to the river, begins to flood.
* Impact...At 6.0 feet, Portions of Hoffman Grove in Wayne sustain
some nuisance flooding.
* Impact...At 6.5 feet, Low lying areas in the vicinity of Two
Bridges in Wayne are flooded. The lower end of Bergen Street in
Paterson, closest to the river, begins to flood.
* Impact...At 7.0 feet, Minor flooding begins in Lincoln Park, Wayne
and Little Falls.
* Impact...At 8.0 feet, Flooding occurs in the "Old" Wayne area of
Wayne. The recycling center and Wagaraw Road ball field complex in
Hawthorne begins to experience flooding.
* Impact...At 8.5 feet, Widespread flooding occurs in Fairfield.

Lincoln Park and Wayne with many evacuations. In Paterson,
portions of River Street, Presidential Boulevard, Bridge Street,
Tyler Street, Totowa Avenue and Mclean Boulevard are flooded.
* Impact...At 9.5 feet, Route 46 in Wayne is subject to closures.
Riverside Drive in Wayne floods. Flooding in Little Falls worsens
as homes on Willaim Street and Zeliff Avenue take on water. Arch
Street and Temple Street bridges in Paterson are subject to
closures. Also in Paterson, portions of Watson Street, Hillman
Street, Bergen Street, east Holsman Street, North 1st Street,
Fifth Avenue, Sixth Avenue, and Goodwin Street are also subject to
closures due to flooding.
* Impact...At 10.0 feet, Wagaraw Road in Hawthorne is closed. Homes
and businesses in Hawthorne, directly along the river, begin to
flood. Water begins to flow over the Temple Street bridge in
Paterson.
* Impact...At 10.5 feet, Businesses along Route 46 in Wayne begin to
flood. Route 23 floods. The Willowbrook Mall experiences flooding.
Haledon Avenue bridge in Paterson is subject to closures. Also in
Paterson, portions of Straight Street, Union Avenue, West
Broadway, Ryle Avenue, East Main Street, North Main Street, and
Haledon Avenue are also subject to closures due to flooding.

* Impact...At 5.5 feet, The lower end of East-Holsman Street in
Paterson, closest to the river, begins to flood.
* Impact...At 6.0 feet, Portions of Hoffman Grove in Wayne sustain
some nuisance flooding.
* Impact...At 6.5 feet, Low lying areas in the vicinity of Two
Bridges in Wayne are flooded. The lower end of Bergen Street in
Paterson, closest to the river, begins to flood.

and businesses in Hawthorne, directly along the river, begin to
flood. Water begins to flow over the Temple Street bridge in

flood. Route 23 floods. The Willowbrook Mall experiences flooding.
Haledon Avenue bridge in Paterson is subject to closures. Also in

* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. This
approaches the flood of record.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 8:45 PM EDT Saturday was 11.4 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late
Tuesday morning and continue falling to 8.1 feet Tuesday evening.
* Impact...At 8.5 feet, Portions of the Wayne Town Center parking
lot begin to flood. Hobson Avenue and Riverlawn Drive in Wayne
begin to flood. Fairfield Road, Fayette Avenue, and Riversedge
Road in Wayne can flood as water backs up the Pompton River.
Lincoln Boulevard in Lincoln Park can also flood due to backwater
up the Pompton river. The Pequannock River Park also floods.
* Impact...At 9.0 feet, Two Bridges Road in Fairfield is subject to
closures.
* Impact...At 9.5 feet, Camp Lane and Marginal Road in Fairfield
begins to flood.
* Impact...At 10.0 feet, Two Bridges Road in Fairfield begins to
flood. Finns Drive, Siesta Drive, and Market street in Wayne are
all susceptible to flooding. William Street, Louis Street, and
Zeliff Avenue in Little Falls can begin to flood. Portions of
Lincoln Park become impassable. The Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln
Park floods.

* Impact...At 19.0 feet, Street flooding begins in Fairfield
including Camp Lane Road. Two Bridges Road is closed going into
Lincoln Park and Wayne.

* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 2:30 AM EDT Sunday was 9.3 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late
tomorrow evening and continue falling to 6.5 feet Tuesday evening.
* Impact...At 5.5 feet, The lower end of East-Holsman Street in
Paterson, closest to the river, begins to flood.
* Impact...At 6.0 feet, Portions of Hoffman Grove in Wayne sustain
some nuisance flooding.
* Impact...At 6.5 feet, Low lying areas in the vicinity of Two
Bridges in Wayne are flooded. The lower end of Bergen Street in
Paterson, closest to the river, begins to flood.
* Impact...At 7.0 feet, Minor flooding begins in Lincoln Park, Wayne
and Little Falls.
* Impact...At 8.0 feet, Flooding occurs in the "Old" Wayne area of
Wayne. The recycling center and Wagaraw Road ball field complex in
Hawthorne begins to experience flooding.
* Impact...At 8.5 feet, Widespread flooding occurs in Fairfield.
* Impact...At 9.0 feet, Widespread flooding occurs throughout
Lincoln Park and Wayne with many evacuations. In Paterson,
portions of River Street, Presidential Boulevard, Bridge Street,
Tyler Street, Totowa Avenue and Mclean Boulevard are flooded.
* Impact...At 9.5 feet, Route 46 in Wayne is subject to closures.
Riverside Drive in Wayne floods. Flooding in Little Falls worsens
as homes on Willaim Street and Zeliff Avenue take on water. Arch
Street and Temple Street bridges in Paterson are subject to
closures. Also in Paterson, portions of Watson Street, Hillman
Street, Bergen Street, east Holsman Street, North 1st Street,
Fifth Avenue, Sixth Avenue, and Goodwin Street are also subject to
closures due to flooding.
