At 633 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Etowah, or 8 miles south of Athens, moving west at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Athens, Etowah, Charleston, Calhoun, Riceville, Hiwassee Ocoee State
Park and Dentville.
