* Until 515 PM EDT.

* At 428 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles northwest
  of Murphy, moving northwest at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Hiawasse Dam, Coker Creek, Violet and Unaka.

FOR NORTHWESTERN CHEROKEE AND SOUTH CENTRAL MONROE COUNTIES...

At 440 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles northwest
of Murphy, moving slowly northwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.
