This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A few isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible this
afternoon through late evening, and they may have the potential
to produce large hail and strong wind gusts. Although chances are
low, an isolated tornado can't be ruled out. In addition, training
of showers and storms are possible along the I-40 corridor
through late evening. If this occurs, localized flash flooding
will be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible Tuesday morning
and again Tuesday evening. Damaging wind, large hail, and an
isolated tornado are the main threats. In addition, multiple
rounds of moderate to heavy rainfall will further increase the
potential for isolated flash flooding through Tuesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are encouraged to relay reports of severe weather and
flooding to our office Monday and Tuesday.
