Although chances are low, an isolated tornado can't be ruled out. In addition, training of showers and storms are possible along the I-40 corridor through late evening. If this occurs, localized flash flooding will be possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible Tuesday morning and again Tuesday evening. Damaging wind, large hail, and an isolated tornado are the main threats. In addition, multiple rounds of moderate to heavy rainfall will further increase the potential for isolated flash flooding through Tuesday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotters are encouraged to relay reports of severe weather and flooding to our office Monday and Tuesday.

Rockford, or near Knoxville, moving east at 35 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Knoxville, Sevierville, Alcoa, Dandridge, Pigeon Forge, Rockford,
Bird Crossing, Fairgarden, Kimberlin Heights and McMahan.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
