...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 AM CDT FOR SOUTH
CENTRAL COVINGTON AND NORTHEASTERN OKALOOSA COUNTIES...
    
At 822 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 7 miles south of Laurel Hill, or 8 miles northeast of
Crestview, moving north at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This dangerous storm will be near...
  Laurel Hill around 835 AM CDT.
  Lockhart around 840 AM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

was located near Laurel Hill, or 11 miles southwest of Florala,
moving north at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

OKALOOSA COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 845 AM CDT...
                
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM CDT for south central
Alabama...and northwestern Florida.
