This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for eastern North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and
evening. Some of these storms could become strong to severe with
damaging winds the primary severe threat, but large hail and an
isolated tornado are also possible. The storms will also produce
heavy rainfall which may lead to localized flooding of low-lying and
poor drainage areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

An active weather pattern will continue over the region through much
of the week with periods of heavy rain expected bringing a threat of
of localized flooding.
