The National Weather Service in Lubbock Texas has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northern Stonewall County in northwestern Texas...

* Until 730 PM CDT.

* At 638 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 4 miles north of Swenson, or 11 miles northwest of
  Aspermont, moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to two inches in diameter.

  SOURCE...Weather spotters reported funnel cloud.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Swenson, Peacock and Us-380 Near The Haskell-
  Stonewall County Line.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

STONEWALL COUNTY...
    
At 654 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 6 miles northeast of Swenson, or 9 miles north of
Aspermont, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and two inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Swenson, Peacock and Us-380 Near The Haskell-Stonewall County Line.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTHERN STONEWALL COUNTY IS CANCELLED...
        
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and has exited the warned area. Therefore, the warning has
been cancelled.  However small hail, gusty winds and heavy rain are
still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for northwestern
Texas.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Lubbock Texas.
