Southeastern Floyd County in northwestern Texas...

Kent County in northwestern Texas...
Southwestern Motley County in northwestern Texas...
* Until 215 PM CDT.
* At 1119 AM CDT, Doppler radar, emergency management and public
reports show continued flooding around Lake Alan Henry. Showers
and thunderstorms with very heavy rain continue to move up into
the same area from the south, especially in Kent County just east
of the lake.
From the south continues to dump additional rainfalll reported
thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Lake Alan Henry. Between 2 and
6 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3
inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already
occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, highways,
and streets as well as other poor drainage and low-
lying areas.

AFTERNOON FOR EASTERN CROSBY, DICKENS, SOUTHEASTERN FLOYD, EASTERN
GARZA, KENT AND SOUTHWESTERN MOTLEY COUNTIES...
At 1227 PM CDT, Doppler radar shows a large area of light to
moderate rain with embedded thunderstorm with very heavy rain
training in from the south up through Kent and Dickens Counties into
the area. Rainfall amounts this morning vary from less than 1 inch
up to 4 to 6 inches near Lake Alan Henry. Another 1 to 2 inches is
possible in some locations.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Emergency management reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, highways and
streets as well as other poor drainage and low-lying
areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Spur, Dickens, White River Lake, Lake Alan Henry, Girard, Mcadoo,

AFTERNOON FOR SOUTHEASTERN CROSBY, WESTERN DICKENS, EASTERN GARZA
AND KENT COUNTIES...
At 1259 PM CDT, Doppler radar shows a large area of light to
moderate rain with embedded thunderstorms with very heavy rain
training into the area from the south. The heaviest rainfall was
near Clairemont in Kent County. Rainfall amounts vary from less
than 1 inch up to 4 inches. Another 1 to 2 inches is possible in
some locations.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
