* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Cottle County in northwestern Texas...
  Southeastern Childress County in the panhandle of Texas...

* Until 100 AM CDT.

* At 1051 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms 
  producing very heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 
  inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 
  inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing 
  or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  mainly rural areas of Northern Cottle and Southeastern Childress 
  Counties

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM CDT SUNDAY FOR 
NORTHERN COTTLE AND SOUTHEASTERN CHILDRESS COUNTIES...

At 1143 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated the strong thunderstorms had 
moved out of the warned area, but other storms may move in after 
midnight.  Between 2 and 4 inches of rain had fallen southwest of 
Kirkland and north of Paducah. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 
inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or 
expected to begin shortly.
