Springs, moving east at 25 mph.

SOUTHEASTERN ST. HELENA AND NORTHEASTERN LIVINGSTON PARISHES...
At 132 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Montpelier, or 15 miles southwest of Amite, moving
east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern St. Helena and northeastern Livingston Parishes.
