FOR NORTHEASTERN WEST FELICIANA AND NORTHEASTERN EAST FELICIANA
PARISHES...SOUTHEASTERN WILKINSON AND SOUTHWESTERN AMITE COUNTIES...

At 1126 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Woodville, or
15 miles northwest of Jackson, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind 
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Centreville, Woodville, Gloster, Wilson, Norwood, Spillman and Felps.

This is a separate storm not associated with the tornado warning and 
may become the dominant storm soon. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into a
small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

miles north of Jackson, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Centreville, Gloster, Wilson, Norwood, Felps and Spillman.
