At 633 AM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Venice, or 26
miles southeast of Port Sulphur, moving east at 20 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Boothville-venice, Boothville, Venice, Buras-triumph and Boothville
Asos.

NORTHEASTERN ASSUMPTION PARISHES...

At 644 AM CDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Belle Rose to near Chauvin. Movement
was northeast at 10 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Houma, Thibodaux, Gonzales, Donaldsonville, Napoleonville, Galliano,
Larose, Cut Off, Lockport, Golden Meadow, White Castle, Sorrento,
Mathews, Schriever, Chauvin, Geismar, Supreme, Raceland, Chackbay and
Montegut.

This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 174 and
187.

Cut Off. Movement was east at 20 mph.

New Orleans, Hammond, Gonzales, Reserve, Metairie, Hahnville,
Laplace, Marrero, Chalmette, Avondale, Harvey, Timberlane, Belle
Chasse, Port Sulphur, Jefferson, Gretna, Harahan, Westwego,
Ponchatoula and Gramercy.

This includes the following Interstates...
 Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 166 and 170, and
between mile markers 184 and 245.
