SOUTHWESTERN KNOX AND EAST CENTRAL WHITLEY COUNTIES...
At 700 AM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Gausdale, or 9 miles southwest of Barbourville,
moving east at 75 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern Knox and east central Whitley Counties.

COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 715 AM EST...
The storm which prompted the warning no longer appears capable of
producing a tornado. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to
expire. However, severe wind gusts are still possible with this
thunderstorm.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 AM EST for south central
Kentucky.
Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for
until 730 AM for Southwestern Knos and East Central Whitley counties.
