...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR POWELL...MONTGOMERY...BATH...
CENTRAL ESTILL AND WESTERN MENIFEE COUNTIES HAS EXPIRED...
The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits in Montgomery, Bath and Menifee counties, and no longer pose
an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning has
been allowed to expire. However, a tornado warning has been issued
for Estill and Powell County until 530 AM.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 AM EST for east central
Kentucky.
To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
JACKSON KY.
Remember, a Tornado Warning still remains in effect for Powell and
Estill Counties until 530 AM.
