water and stranded motorists in the Bloomington area. Between 2 and
4 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is occurring.

At 1038 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported several cars stuck in
water and stranded motorists. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have
fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing. The heaviest rainfall has shifted
outside of the warning polygon, but light to moderate rainfall will
continue over the next several hours.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

FOR NORTHWESTERN DE WITT, NORTHERN LOGAN, SOUTHWESTERN MCLEAN AND
SOUTHEASTERN TAZEWELL COUNTIES...
At 1153 PM CDT, County emergency management reported a water rescue
in Shirley at 6256 N and 900 E Rd. Further north in Bloomington, a
vehicle was stalled in high water on Interstate 55 near mile marker
159. There has also been widespread flooding across Heyworth and
Leroy where vehicles have been stalled in high water.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
