The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Chase County in east central Kansas...
  Northeastern Butler County in south central Kansas...
  Southeastern Marion County in central Kansas...

* Until 215 PM CDT.

* At 149 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from Burns to 13 miles northeast of Potwin, moving
  northeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* These severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly rural areas of
  southwestern Chase, northeastern Butler and southeastern Marion
  Counties, including the following locations... Wonsevu and
  Cassoday.

This includes Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 89 and 97.

NORTHEASTERN BUTLER AND SOUTHEASTERN MARION COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT
215 PM CDT...
    
The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of Butler 
County and are not currently severe over Marion County. Therefore, 
the warning will be allowed to expire.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
south central, central, southeastern and east central Kansas.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Wichita.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for
much of Chase County until 245 PM CDT.
