* At 6:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 1.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
tomorrow morning to a crest of 21.6 feet early Sunday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage late Sunday morning.
* Impact...At 22.0 feet, Outside the levee system, the intersection
of River Road and Stark Street floods. Flood waters expand to 1/4
of mile eastward on Stark Street.

this afternoon to a crest of 18.2 feet this evening. It will then
fall below flood stage this evening.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet, Flooding of low-lying areas is expected,
especially along the left bank near the Water Plant. Further
upstream and downstream from the gage site the river spreads out
into the flood plain.
