...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN LAUDERDALE...
COLBERT...FRANKLIN AND NORTHERN LAWRENCE COUNTIES UNTIL 930 PM CDT...

At 845 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from St. Florian to near Muscle Shoals to Belmont.
Movement was southeast at 20 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Florence, Muscle Shoals, Russellville, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, Red Bay,
Phil Campbell, Killen, Town Creek and Littleville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike several miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a
safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.

At 904 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Town Creek, moving southwest at 10 mph.

Wind gusts to 55 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Russellville, Moulton, Town Creek, Littleville, Leighton, Courtland,
Mt Hope, La Grange, Tharptown and Ne Smith.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
