Showers and thunderstorms will continue this evening generally across parts of far eastern Colorado and Wallace, Greeley and Wichita counties in Kansas. The primary hazards include wind gusts to 50 mph and locally heavy rainfall which may cause flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas. Strong thunderstorms in north central Nebraska may impact those east of a line from Trenton to Hill City a few hours before sunrise Saturday morning with strong northeast winds. Fog will be possible a few hours either side of sunrise Saturday morning east of a line from Wray to Goodland and Oakley. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY... There is a chance for thunderstorms Saturday and Sunday during the late afternoon and evening hours with a few potentially being severe. At 932 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles southeast of Vona to 3 miles southwest
of Cheyenne Wells. Movement was northeast at 10 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Burlington, Cheyenne Wells, Weskan, Bethune, Firstview and Arapahoe.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 422 and 442.
Highway 385 between mile markers 145 and 192.

thunderstorm 6 miles south of Sharon Springs, moving southeast at 10
mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern
Wallace, southwestern Logan and northeastern Greeley Counties.
