* Until 630 PM CDT.

* At 319 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 4 and 5 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Doppler radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

EVENING FOR NORTHERN EASTLAND, WESTERN PALO PINTO AND SOUTHERN 
STEPHENS COUNTIES...

At 344 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported flooded streets in 
the City of Eastland and 1 foot deep water on CR2214 due to 
thunderstorms. Between 4 and 5 inches of rain have fallen with an 
additional 1 to 2 inches of rain possible over the next couple 
hours. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

The heavy rain has ended and new flooding is no longer expected. 
Flooding of low lying and/or poor drainage areas will likely 
continue for a few hours until the water has had a chance to recede. 
Please continue to avoid flooded areas and heed all road closures.

A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 700 AM CDT Tuesday for a 
portion of north central Texas.
