The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Dallas County in north central Texas...
  Southeastern Tarrant County in north central Texas...

* Until 1000 PM CDT.

* At 653 PM CDT, broadcast media reported flooding in the University 
  Park area with multiple roads with water flowing over. Between 1 
  and 3 inches of rain have fallen with up to 2 additional inches of 
  rain possible. Flash flooding will begin shortly or is already 
  occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Trained spotters.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Garland, Irving, Grand Prairie, 
  Mesquite, Carrollton, Richardson, Mansfield, Rowlett, Euless, 
  Desoto, Cedar Hill, Wylie, Duncanville, Farmers Branch, University 
  Park, Sachse and Addison.

EVENING FOR DALLAS AND SOUTHEASTERN TARRANT COUNTIES...

At 820 PM CDT, amateur radio continues to report flooding on 
multiple roadways across Dallas County. Do not attempt to drive 
through flooded roads! Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen 
with up to 1 additional inches of rain possible. Flash flooding will 
begin shortly or is already occurring.
