heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

The very heavy rain from earlier today has ended from highway 64
down into the Grand Canyon to the Colorado River. Runoff should
continue to diminish into this evening.
A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MST for portions
of north central Arizona, northeast Arizona and west central Arizona.
