...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 AM EDT THIS 
MORNING FOR SOUTHWESTERN BLECKLEY, WEST CENTRAL DODGE, DOOLY, 
SOUTHEASTERN HOUSTON AND PULASKI COUNTIES...

At 627 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicate that 
heavy rain had fallen across the warned area. Between 2 and 6 inches 
of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches 
are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or 
expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Cochran, Hawkinsville, Vienna, Unadilla, Byromville, Pinehurst, 
  Lilly, Mock Springs, Browndale, Klondike, Wallace, Pulaski State 
  Prison, Hartford, Ocmulgee Public Fishing Area, Mobley Crossing, 
  Magnolia, Paulk, Baileys Park, Porter and Coley Station.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

CENTRAL DODGE, DOOLY, SOUTHEASTERN HOUSTON AND PULASKI COUNTIES...

The heavy rain has ended and Flash Flooding is no longer expected to 
pose a threat, however lingering areal flooding may continue around 
the area. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.

A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 200 PM EDT for portions 
of central Georgia, east central Georgia, north central Georgia,
