* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Lycoming County in north central Pennsylvania...
  Sullivan County in north central Pennsylvania...

* Until 915 PM EDT.

* At 827 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Cogan
  Station, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Williamsport, Montoursville, Hughesville, Kettle Creek Gorge, Cogan
  Station, Ricketts Glen State Park, Biggertown, Muncy Valley,
  Barbours, Loyalsockville, Garden View, Picture Rocks, Laporte,
  Salladasburg, Forksville, Eagles Mere and Hillsgrove.

This includes Interstate 180 from mile markers 17 to 23.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

office in State College PA.

Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Very heavy rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR CENTRAL LYCOMING AND SULLIVAN
COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 915 PM EDT...
                
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However gusty
winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
central and north central Pennsylvania.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
State College PA.

Remember, Severe Thunderstorm Warnings still remain in effect for 
portions of southern Lycoming County!
