...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTH CENTRAL ERIE COUNTY...

At 451 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Tonawanda, 
moving east at 15 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this storm, along with 
brief torrential downpours.

Locations impacted include...
North Buffalo, Kenmore, Tonawanda, and Amherst.

This includes Interstate 90 between exits 52 and 50 and Interstate 
190 near the South Grand Island Bridge.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause 
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded 
roadways.
