COUNTY...
At 844 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were clustered near Newfane, or 9
miles northwest of Lockport, moving southeast at 30 mph.
Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Newfane, Wilson, Barker, Olcott, Ransomville, Model City and
Appleton.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Radar estimates that the storms have been
generating rain at a rate of one inch per hour. Do not drive your
