portions of Oswego and Lewis Counties. Flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5
inches of rain have fallen.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Central Square, Redfield, Highmarket, Constantia, West Monroe,
Williamstown, Lyonsdale, Greig, Cleveland, Port Leyden, Lyons

Hill are also beginning to flow high. A travelers advisory is in
effect for southern portions of Lewis County due to the flooding
and road closures.

At 413 PM EDT, Local law enforcement reports widespread active
flooding across southern Lewis County. Multiple roads are closed or
have water over them. Smaller creeks and streams that drain the
southern Tug Hill Plateau will continue to flood. A travelers
advisory is in effect for southern portions of Lewis County due to
the flooding and road closures.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Highmarket, Lyonsdale, Greig, Port Leyden, Lyons Falls,
Constableville, Turin, Osceola, Mohawk Hill, Talcottville, West
Leyden, Brantingham, Swancott Mill and North Osceola.
Additional rainfall amounts of less than 0.25 inches are possible in
the warned area. The flooding is a result of heavy rain from last
night and this morning.
