* Flood Warning for...
Southern Livingston County in western New York...
Ontario County in western New York...
Southeastern Wayne County in western New York...
* Until 630 AM EDT Thursday.
* At 1221 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated between 1 and 2.5 inches
of rain has fallen across the warned area. This will result in
flooding in low-lying areas and in areas with poor drainage. This
also will cause creeks and streams to rise above bankfull at some
locations. Road closures are possible.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Geneva, Canandaigua, Dansville, Newark, Lyons, Conesus, Bristol,
Clifton Springs, Clyde, Phelps, Bloomfield, Naples, Honeoye,
Hemlock, Gorham, East Bloomfield, Groveland, West Bloomfield,
Springwater and Rose.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area.

At 434 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated an area of heavy rainfall
across the warned area. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain have
fallen. Although the heavy rain has ended, some creeks and rivers
may continue to rise during the next couple hours.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Geneva, Canandaigua, Clifton Springs, Phelps, Naples, Gorham,
Cottage City, Cheshire, Seneca Castle, Bristol Mountain, Hall, Hunt
Hollow and West Junius.
