* At 538 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the
warned area. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. The heavy
rain should exit the region through 7 am, but runoff will continue
to result in Flash flooding and significant urban flooding.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

Numerous roads are flooded and impassable. Even though the heavy
rain will be exiting the region by 7 am roads will continue to be
flooded and impassable into the morning commute.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
