This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the counties served by the
National Weather Service office in Birmingham.

.DAY ONE...Outlook through Tonight.

A couple severe storms may occur during the overnight and early
morning hours. The primary hazards are large hail and damaging
winds. A brief tornado cannot be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Severe thunderstorms are possible again through 10 pm Tuesday for
much of Central Alabama. Damaging winds and large hail are the main
threats. A brief tornado cannot be ruled out.

Severe storms are likely Wednesday afternoon into early Thursday
morning. Threats include strong tornadoes, large hail, and damaging
winds up to 60 mph. Stay tuned for forecast updates.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Activation of storm spotters and emergency management may be needed
on Monday, Tuesday, and again on Wednesday and Wednesday night.
Please follow all local, state, and CDC guidelines in regards to
travel.

At 116 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
New Salem, or 9 miles southeast of Fulton, moving northeast at 40
mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Hamilton, Hackleburg, Weston, Bear Creek, Tessner, Bexar, Pigeye,
Shottsville and Upper Bear Creek Reservoir.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
