Warning for the following rivers in Alabama...
Black Warrior River At Oliver Lock and Dam affecting Greene,
Marengo, Hale and Tuscaloosa Counties.
.Heavy rainfall of 3 to 5 inches has occurred over the past 24 hours
over the Black Warrior River basin and a flood warning is now in
effect for the Black Warrior River at Oliver.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Another statement will be issued by Friday morning, or sooner if
conditions warrant.

* At 8:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 127.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 129.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this evening to a crest of 137.8 feet early Saturday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage early Sunday afternoon.
* Impact...At 125.0 feet, Flooding of some roads leading into homes
in the Hemphill Bend area southwest of Tuscaloosa occurs.
* Impact...At 129.0 feet, Flooding of agricultural lands in areas
southwest of Tuscaloosa occurs.
* Impact...At 132.0 feet, Flooding of rural roads southwest of
Tuscaloosa occurs.
* Impact...At 135.0 feet, Numerous camphouses and some permanent
residences southwest of Tuscaloosa become cutoff.
