...The National Weather Service in Birmingham AL has issued a Flood 
Warning for the following rivers in Alabama...

  Black Warrior River At Bankhead Lock and Dam affecting Tuscaloosa,
   Walker and Jefferson Counties.

.Heavy rainfall of 3 to 5 inches has occurred since over the past 24 
hours.over the Black Warrior River basin and a flood warning is now 
in effect for the Black Warrior River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Another statement will be issued by Friday morning, or sooner if 
conditions warrant.

* At 8:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 187.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 189.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late 
  tonight to a crest of 189.1 feet tomorrow morning. It will then 
  fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening.
