flooding is forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* Flood Warning for
the Oneida Creek At Oneida.
* Until late tonight.
* At 10:15 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 10.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
this afternoon to a crest of 11.4 feet by mid afternoon. It will
then fall below flood stage tonight.
* Impact...At 11.0 feet, Flood Stage. Low lying areas in the Town of
Verona, and near Oneida Castle, flood. No homes, businesses, or
infrastructure are affected.
* Impact...At 11.5 feet, Water spreads across Highland Avenue,
cutting off some residences from accessing Prospect Street. Low
lying areas in the Town of Verona north of Sconondoa Street flood
as water backs up along Sconondoa Creek.
