...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Middlesex,
Northumberland, northwestern York, James City, Gloucester, King and
Queen, Richmond, eastern New Kent, Mathews, southeastern
Westmoreland, King William, southeastern Essex and Lancaster Counties
and the City of Williamsburg through 500 AM EDT...

At 400 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near King William to Carver Gardens. Movement
was northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Rain 1 to 2 inches.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Possible flooding of poor drainage and low lying areas.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  King William around 405 AM EDT.
  Saint Stephens Church, Virginia Institute For Marine Sciences and
  Stevensville around 410 AM EDT.
  Gloucester Point and Wicomico around 415 AM EDT.
  Millers Tavern and Achilles around 420 AM EDT.
  Gloucester Courthouse and Hayes around 425 AM EDT.
  Tappahannock, Dunnsville and Center Cross around 430 AM EDT.
  Mobjack around 435 AM EDT.
  Mathews around 440 AM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Eltham, Threeway,
Croaker, Lackey, Moon, Laban, Camp Peary, Brook Vale, Grafton and
Belle Isle State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
