At 240 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Corolla, or 9
miles east of Currituck, moving east at 20 mph.

Wind gusts in excess of 40 mph and dime size hail are possible with
this storm.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern
Eastern Currituck County.

along a line extending from 6 miles southeast of Seaboard to near
Roanoke Rapids. Movement was northeast at 10 mph.

Wind gusts in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms. In
addition, rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible with these
storms through 730 pm EDT.
