This wave and associated lift will keep showers going through most of the morning across the area, with a diminishing trend this afternoon. Despite the rain and clouds today, southerly winds will help boost temperatures into the upper 40s to lower 50s for highs. Things look to quiet down tonight as wave exits to the east. Some lower end chances will reside along the Arkansas border along a diffuse frontal boundary and may see some patchy drizzle further north at times. Temperatures will not fall much with lows only in the 40s. .LONG TERM...(Tuesday through Sunday) Issued at 300 AM CDT Mon Mar 16 2020 For the most part Tuesday looks to be quiet, with some weak upper level ridging building across the region.
