...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...EASTERN
ESCAMBIA...SOUTHWESTERN COVINGTON AND NORTHWESTERN OKALOOSA COUNTIES
UNTIL 515 PM CDT...

At 435 PM CDT, the strong thunderstorm was located 16 miles east of
Riverview, or 17 miles east of Brewton, moving northeast at 15 mph.

Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph will be possible with this storm.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of eastern Escambia,
southwestern Covington and northwestern Okaloosa Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

At 454 PM CDT, the strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 4 miles north of McCullough to 8 miles northwest of
Brewton, and moving northeast at 15 mph.

Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.

Evergreen, Frisco City, Uriah, Castleberry, Excel, Repton, I65 And US
84 and I65 And AL 113.
