EXPIRE AT 430 PM EDT...
                
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, 
frequent lightning, gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible 
with this thunderstorm.

.DISCUSSION...
From satellite imagery, clouds can be seen moving into northern
Lake and Volusia counties this morning. Southward from there,
skies were partly sunny. Early morning storm activity was
detected over the FL southwest coast but this has
dissipated/weaken after reaching the coastal counties. For the
rest of today, a few showers could reach east central FL this
morning. After 11 am, convection will get going along the west
coast of FL and move towards the northeast or east. Coverage of
showers and thunderstorms will be high today, once again, over
east central FL. So watch for these approaching from the west,
which could produce strong gusty winds, frequent lightning and
heavy rainfall (2-3 in) in a brief amount of time. Along the east
coast, the sea breeze will develop early in the afternoon and
will push inland. This will help to enhance any storm that
encounters the breeze, so the east coast counties could see storms
strengthening quickly. High temps will be a few degrees lower
than last week as these may cap to the upper 80s or near 90. Heat
indices however will reach the upper 90s towards the Treasure
Coast as they stay under partly sunny longer. No changes were made
to the forecast.

.AVIATION...
VFR for rest of morning. MVFR/IFR conditions due to reduced
visibilities and lowering of cigs as SHRA/TSRA will affect most
of the terminals, starting from the northern sites (KLEE, KSFB) at
around 05/18z then moving southward towards coastal sites and
Treasure Coast. SW winds 5-10 kt this morning, becoming variable
in direction in the presence of outflow boundaries. East coast sea
breeze will turn winds from the east to southeast and modify
coastal terminals. Gusty winds could reach 40-50 kt under or in
the proximity of thunderstorms.

.MARINE...
SW wind 5-10 kt across the coastal waters will shift as these
"feel" the development of the sea breeze and become onshore this
afternoon. These will veer in the evening and become S/SW again.
Seas 2-3 ft. Boaters will need to pay attention to any storm
approaching from land as these will have the potential to produce
locally stronger winds and higher seas.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
Numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop across the
interior into early to mid afternoon and then move toward the
coastal areas of east central Florida into the late afternoon
hours. Storms will move east-northeast at 20 mph with some storms
expected to become strong as they interact with the east coast
sea breeze over the coastal counties during the late afternoon.
Some of the stronger storms may produce gusty winds to 45 to 55
mph, frequent lightning, and heavy rain. Some locations may
receive two to three inches that could produce minor flooding of
urban areas and low lying spots. Scattered storms will continue
across east central Florida this evening and then diminish into
the late evening hours.

.MARINE THUNDERSTORM GUST IMPACT...
Storms developing over the interior by early afternoon will move
toward the Atlantic coast by mid afternoon into early evening. A
few of the stronger storms may produce gusty winds in excess of 35
knots. Boaters should be prepared to seek safe harbor as storms
approach the intracoastal and near shore Atlantic waters.

.RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
An east swell and a larger than normal tidal range will contribute
to a Moderate risk of life-threatening rip currents at east central
Florida beaches. Remember to swim within sight of a lifeguard.

Also, be sure to check with local officials regarding any beach
closures that might be in effect for your county or community.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.
Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected each afternoon
through the upcoming week. Frequent cloud-to-ground lightning
strikes, torrential downpours, and gusty winds will be the main
threats with any strong storms that develop.

A Moderate risk of life-threatening rip currents is expected to
continue at the east central Florida Atlantic beaches through
Monday.
