This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of eastern and
central Missouri as well as west central and southwest Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Accumulating snow, sleet, and ice are expected across much of the
region through this evening. The highest impacts are expected in
northeast Missouri and a portion of west-central Illinois where a
Warning has been issued. For most of the rest of the area to the
north and west of Saint Louis City, an Advisory has been issued.

Major flooding is expected to begin on the Kaskaskia River at
Vandalia later today and continue through tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Major flooding is expected to continue on the Kaskaskia River at
Vandalia until early Tuesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are encouraged to report rainfall amounts in excess of an
inch or any flooding, if observed, to the National Weather
Service. Spotters are also encouraged to report wintry precipitation
type and amounts, if observed, to the National Weather Service.
