Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain are in the forecast
today. Isolated flooding may develop, especially in poor drainage
areas, and where multiple heavy downpours occur over the same area.
Any thunderstorms also will be capable of gusty winds and cloud-to-
ground lightning strikes.
