* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Toombs County in southeastern Georgia...
  Southern Dodge County in central Georgia...
  Telfair County in central Georgia...
  Wilcox County in central Georgia...
  Wheeler County in central Georgia...
  Crisp County in central Georgia...
  Central Montgomery County in central Georgia...

* Until 1030 PM EST Wednesday.

* At 428 PM EST, emergency management reported thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain across the warned area. Reports have been 
  received on multiple roadways closed and some homes threatened. A 
  farm pond dam was breached on the north side of Cordele that could 
  impact a portion of Interstate 75. Up to three inches of rain have 
  already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Cordele, McRae, Lyons, Abbeville, Alamo, Mount Vernon, Vidalia,
  Helena, Lumber City, Rochelle, Glenwood, Milan, Uvalda, Arabi,
  Pineview, Ailey, Rhine, Scotland, Chauncey and Higgston.

Additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches are possible in the 
warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
