heavy rain, especially for areas that have repeating storms or in
urban or poor drainage regions. The strongest storms will also have
the potential to produce strong winds and, in some cases, reach
severe limits.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Pennsylvania.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected across the area today and
will produce heavy rainfall. There is a localized flood risk for the
heavy rain, especially for areas that have repeating storms or in
urban or poor drainage regions. The strongest storms will also have
the potential to produce strong winds and, in some cases, reach
severe limits.

There is a moderate swimming risk for the Lake Erie waters off
Northwest Pennsylvania. Waves of 2 to 4 feet are expected today.
Breaking waves and currents are expected. Stay away from dangerous
areas like piers, breakwalls, and river outlets.
