This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
	RISK...Elevated.
	AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.
	ONSET...Ongoing...diminishing after sunset.

DISCUSSION...
Scattered thunderstorms remain possible across northeast Oklahoma
this afternoon...primarily along and northwest of Interstate 44.
A few strong to briefly severe storms are possible with locally
damaging winds the primary severe weather hazard.
Additional isolated storms are expected from southeast Oklahoma
through western Arkansas.  The overall slow movement of storms
today will allow for locally heavy rainfall.  The coverage
and intensity of storms will gradually wane after sunset.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
THURSDAY and FRIDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Daily thunderstorm chances will continue into early next week as a
series of disturbances move through the area. Locally heavy
rainfall will remain possible through this time. The upper level
ridge will build across the region next week, leading to increased
potential for heat and humidity impacts. Triple digit heat index
values are expected across much of eastern Oklahoma and west
central Arkansas Saturday and Sunday.
