This hazardous weather outlook is for east central...north
central and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and tonight.

There is a chance for a few thunderstorms tonight. Locally
moderate rain is possible at times. Rain combined with melting
snow could cause streams and rivers across north central portions
of Kansas to flood. Thus, a flood watch will go into effect this
evening along and north of a line from Abilene to Seneca.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Moderate to heavy rain is expected Wednesday morning, so the
flood watch will remain in effect until Wednesday evening.

Southerly winds are forecast to strengthen late Wednesday morning
to 25 to 35 miles per hour with gusts as high as 45 miles per
hour.

Isolated thunderstorms may develop wednesday afternoon across
north central and northeast Kansas. Some storms may be strong to
severe. All hazards will be possible with any severe
thunderstorms.

West and northwest winds will increase to 25 to 35 miles per
hour Thursday with gusts of 40 to 50 miles per hour. A high wind
watch will be in effect for Thursday morning and afternoon in
north central Kansas.
