At 1132 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of showers and
thunderstorms along a line extending from Durham to near Sanford,
moving northeast at 40 mph.

Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Sanford, Creedmoor, Wake Forest, Rdu
International, Apex, Holly Springs and Morrisville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and will
lead to hazardous travel conditions and localized flooding,
particularly in urban areas around the Triangle.

Seek shelter in a nearby building or vehicle. Wind gusts as high as
40 mph are capable of knocking down tree limbs and blowing around
trash cans, potted plants, lawn furniture and other light outdoor
objects.
