...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN CARBON AND
NORTHWESTERN MONROE COUNTIES...

At 439 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Albrightsville,
or 13 miles north of Lehighton, moving east at 5 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Blakeslee, Long Pond, Albrightsville, Pocono Raceway, Lake Harmony,
Christmans, Sun Valley, Jonas, Meckesville, Pocono Pines, Merwinsburg
and Effort.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
