...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT HUDSON...NORTHEASTERN UNION...
SOUTH CENTRAL BERGEN AND SOUTHEASTERN ESSEX COUNTIES...

At 1208 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Newark, moving
northeast at 20 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Newark, Elizabeth, Passaic, Bayonne, Bloomfield, Orange, Lyndhurst,
Rutherford, Secaucus, Harrison, Union City, Kearny, Union, Clifton
and East Orange.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
