The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Western George County in southeastern Mississippi...
  Southern Perry County in southeastern Mississippi...
  Stone County in southeastern Mississippi...

* Until 515 PM CDT.

* At 1117 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. As much as 8 to 10 inches of 
  storm total rainfall has been observed in parts of Stone and Perry 
  counties. There are reports of road closures in the warned area. 
  Water will continue to flow downstream, resulting in rising water 
  levels near creeks and rivers even after rain has ended. Flash 
  flooding is expected to continue or worsen with additional 
  rainfall this afternoon.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Wiggins, Perkinston and McHenry. 

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the 
warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM CDT FOR
WESTERN GEORGE...SOUTHERN PERRY AND STONE COUNTIES...

At 208 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain across the warned area. Up to 10 inches of rain have fallen in 
some locations since Friday evening. Numerous roads have been 
reported closed or washed out by emergency management. Flash 
flooding is ongoing and will continue or worsen with this additional 
rainfall, especially in parts of Stone County.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Wiggins, Perkinston, McHenry and Janice.

Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected in the 
warned area, with locally higher amounts possible.
