Stone County in southeastern Mississippi...
* Until 830 AM CDT.
* At 423 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Isolated locations have
received 2 to 3 inches of rainfall over the past hour and similar
totals will continue for at least the next hour. Flash flooding is
possible.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Wiggins and Perkinston.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
